Employee Benefits

IDF recognizes the importance of fringe benefits and takes pride in the benefits package offered to our employees. We are dedicated to offering our employees very attractive benefits, many of which become more enriched with length of service. Employees are entitled to all benefits upon completion of the ninety-day probationary period.

Vacation

Licensed employees will accrue towards three weeks vacation and ten designated holidays. After three years of service, he/she will be entitled to four weeks vacation.Unlicensed employees are entitled to accrue towards two weeks vacation and ten designated holidays. After three years of service vacation increases to three weeks, and after seven years it again increases to four weeks.

Insurance

Independent Dialysis Foundation offers competitive health insurance benefits. The amount of the payroll deduction required of employee will be determined each year to reflect the renewal rates during open enrollment. IDF will set contributions to reflect what Administration deems fair and reasonable.

IDF provides a life insurance policy equal to the amount of the employee’s annual salary up to $50,000.00. Employees must work a minimum of 30 hours a week to qualify for this benefit.IDF provides a short-term disability insurance plan for employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week.

The plan provides for up to 13 weeks of coverage following a thirty (30) day absence due to illness. IDF allows for 72 hours of sick time; and the employee may elect to use two weeks of accrued vacation, holiday or comp time during the 30 day elimination period.

Pre-Tax Spending

We have pre-tax spending accounts for medical and dependent care expenses.

Tuition Reimbursement

Once an employee has been employed by IDF for six months, they may take advantage of our tuition reimbursement program. IDF will reimburse 50% of the tuition for any college accredited course passed with a “C” or better. Persons who attend an accredited nursing program for the pursuit of an RN license may be eligible for 100% tuition payment.

Pension/403B

To help employees prepare for retirement, IDF contributes on the behalf of employees meeting service requirements, a percentage of his/her annual salary to a retirement plan based on management discretion at the end of each fiscal year. We also offer a 403B which the employee may set up and make payroll contributions to based on his/her individual needs and desires.

Payroll

We pay on a bi-weekly schedule via direct deposit or paycheck. All disbursements are mailed to the employees home.
